PITUITARY MACROADENOMA.
This 54 year old lady was evaluated for weight gain and
skin pigmentation. She was found to have a pituitary adenoma. She underwent a
transphenoidal surgery. One and a half
months later she became symptomatic. She was treated with Cyberknife for the
residual lesion. When she came for follow up, she was symptomatically better
and the follow up imaging showed a marked reduction in the size of the
lesion.
The patient was under treatment with Dr.Rathna Devi, Senior consultant Radiation oncology.
