A CASE OF SUPRASELLAR MENINGIOMA
This 50
year old lady from Bangladesh came to our hospital with visual disturbances. A
diagnosis of suprasellar meningioma had been made and had been operated upon in
Bangladesh. There was a recurrent lesion. It was decided to irradiate her with
IMRT and was boosted with Cyberknife to the required dose. This was possible
with preservation of surrounding structures. Six months down the line she came
for follow up. The lesion had reduced in volume and vision improved from nearly
no vision to good vision.
